You understand the importance of storytelling in design and can effectively communicate your ideas to stakeholders. Your experience includes working with non-technical users, ensuring that your designs are accessible and easy to use. Desirable

Experience with AI technologies and how they can enhance user experiences would be a plus. Familiarity with menu management systems or similar platforms is also desirable. You have a strong understanding of user research methodologies and can apply insights to inform your design decisions.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Designer on the Menu Experience team, you will own significant parts of the menu management experience from problem framing through to shipped impact. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create tools that empower restaurant owners to manage their menus effectively. Your role will involve conducting user research to understand merchant needs and translating those insights into design solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

You will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate your vision clearly. You will also participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and iterating on your designs based on user testing and stakeholder input. Your work will directly impact how merchants represent their businesses on the DoorDash platform, making it essential that your designs are not only user-friendly but also aligned with the company's goals.
