Who you are

You are an enthusiastic individual eager to join the Service Operations team at DoorDash Labs. With a foundational understanding of robotics and electric bicycles, you are ready to build on your existing technical skills. You thrive in hands-on environments and are excited about the opportunity to work with advanced robotic systems. You are willing to learn from experienced technicians and progressively take on more complex repairs. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will help you excel in this role. You are committed to maintaining high standards of service and ensuring that the robotic fleet operates at peak performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will perform standard and intermediate Service Technician tasks with growing independence. You will be responsible for the service and upkeep of robotic systems and electric bicycles, ensuring they are functioning optimally. You will repair common faults in robotic platforms and modular components, utilizing established troubleshooting procedures. As you gain experience, you will assist with complex or unusual faults alongside senior technicians, learning advanced diagnostic methods for both robotic systems and e-bikes. You will complete repairs on electrical systems, control units, battery packs, and hardware under guidance, with opportunities to develop toward independent advanced repairs. Your contributions will directly support the fleet utilization goals of DoorDash Labs, making a significant impact on last-mile logistics.
