Who you are
You have a proven track record of designing new products from scratch and thrive in zero-to-one environments with high ambiguity and autonomy. Your deep product taste and strong execution skills allow you to turn ambiguous problems into clear, intuitive workflows that deliver real impact. You are obsessed with understanding customer needs and translating complex technical concepts into engaging user experiences. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to define and drive user experience.
You are skilled in developing and iterating on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows. Conducting user research and usability testing is second nature to you, as you gather insights to inform design decisions. You push design quality by leveraging Dropbox's design systems and work closely with engineering to ensure high-quality experiences. Your ability to incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users helps you continually refine and improve the user experience of CompanyOS.
Desirable
Familiarity with and passion for AI/ML and other emerging technologies is a plus, as you stay informed of the competitive landscape and incorporate strategic direction into your design recommendations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design efforts for CompanyOS, an AI-native operating system for work that Dropbox uses internally. You will collaborate with the Office of the CEO, product, and engineering teams to define and drive the user experience and interface. Your responsibilities will include developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, as well as conducting user research to gather insights that inform your design decisions. You will translate complex technical requirements into intuitive and accessible user experiences, ensuring that the design quality meets Dropbox's high standards.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to refine and improve the user experience continually, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users. Your role will also involve presenting design recommendations to an executive audience, ensuring that your designs align with strategic goals. You will have the opportunity to push the boundaries of design quality and innovation within the New Initiatives Org, making a significant impact on how Dropboxers plan, execute, and measure critical initiatives.
