Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record as a Staff Product Designer, ideally with experience in leading design for new products from inception to launch. Your deep product taste and strong execution skills allow you to thrive in high-ambiguity environments, where you can turn complex problems into clear, intuitive workflows. You are passionate about user experience and have a strong understanding of customer needs, which drives your design decisions. Your experience includes collaborating with executive audiences and incorporating strategic direction into your design recommendations. You are familiar with AI/ML technologies and have a keen interest in how they can enhance user experiences. You excel in developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, effectively communicating design ideas and user flows.
Desirable
Experience with usability testing and user research is a plus, as is familiarity with design systems and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure quality in shipped products. You are comfortable presenting your design work to stakeholders and incorporating feedback to refine user experiences. Your ability to design complex, multi-step workflows with significant decision depth and interdependencies sets you apart in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design efforts for CompanyOS, an AI-native operating system for work that Dropbox uses internally. You will collaborate closely with the Office of the CEO, product, and engineering teams to define and drive the user experience and interface of the product. Your responsibilities will include developing and iterating on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform your design decisions, ensuring that the product meets the needs of its users. You will push design quality by leveraging Dropbox's design systems and work collaboratively with engineering to ship high-quality experiences. Your role will also involve incorporating feedback from stakeholders, team members, and users to continuously refine and improve the user experience of CompanyOS.
What we offer
At Dropbox, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and creativity. We offer a competitive salary range of $178,500—$241,500 CAD, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth. You will have the chance to work on cutting-edge projects that have a real impact on the way we work. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
