Who you are
You have a strong background in product management with a focus on technical products, ideally with experience in file synchronization or storage technologies. Your ability to define and evangelize long-term product vision and strategy is complemented by your experience leading cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists. You understand the intricacies of distributed file systems and OS-level integration, translating complex technical details into user-friendly experiences. Your track record demonstrates delivering positive outcomes in technically complex domains, and you have experience mentoring other product managers or serving as a cultural leader within a high-performing product organization.
Desirable
Experience with cloud storage solutions or similar technologies would be a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes will help you thrive in this role. You are comfortable engaging with partner teams across the organization to align shared goals and drive product success.
What you'll do
As the Staff Product Manager on the Desktop Core Sync team, you will lead the strategy and execution for Dropboxβs Sync Engine, ensuring that files remain instantly available and perfectly in sync across devices. You will define the product roadmap and work closely with a world-class engineering team to evolve the core sync architecture for the next decade. Your role will involve balancing deep technical complexity with simple, intuitive customer experiences, ensuring that the technology continues to delight millions of users and teams who rely on Dropbox every day.
