Desirable

Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef is a plus, as is any exposure to cybersecurity principles. You are proactive in your approach and are always looking for ways to improve processes and enhance support services.

What you'll do

As an Infrastructure Support Engineer at DRW, you will be responsible for providing hands-on support to trading desks on a daily basis. Your role will involve investigating and resolving a variety of technical and business issues, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities. You will manage time-sensitive, critical problems while also overseeing long-term projects that enhance the overall infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with technology teams and external parties to ensure that the support provided meets the high standards expected in a trading environment.

You will also help define technology requirements for other teams across the firm, acting as a bridge between the trading desks and the technology teams. Your ability to communicate effectively and understand the needs of both sides will be crucial in this role. You will be expected to document issues and resolutions, contributing to a knowledge base that helps improve future support efforts.
