What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end cycle of translating ideas into production-ready data solutions. You will establish metrics to measure success and guide the development of educational content in new subjects. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will embed experimentation into the development process, ensuring that data informs every decision.

You will also be responsible for building and managing a team of data scientists, providing mentorship and guidance as they tackle complex challenges. Your leadership will be crucial in defining the vision for data science within the New Subjects pillar, and you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of Duolingo's expansion into new educational areas.
