What you'll do

As the Director of Site Reliability Engineering, you will provide strategic leadership and technical direction for the reliability and performance of Earnin's systems. You will drive the adoption of reliability-first principles across the organization, ensuring that all teams prioritize system resilience in their workflows.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to design and implement scalable, high-availability systems. Your role will involve setting clear objectives and key results (OKRs) for the SRE team, aligning them with the broader business goals of Earnin.

You will lead initiatives to automate processes and improve system monitoring, ensuring that incidents are detected and resolved quickly. Your expertise will guide the team in implementing best practices for incident management and post-mortem analysis, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.

You will also be responsible for capacity planning and performance tuning, ensuring that systems can handle increasing loads as Earnin continues to grow. Your leadership will be crucial in developing a robust incident response strategy that minimizes downtime and enhances user experience.

What we offer

Earnin offers a competitive salary range of $315,000 to $385,000, along with equity options.
