Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in finance and operations, ideally with experience in a startup environment. You thrive in high-autonomy roles where you can build systems from the ground up and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in financial modeling and forecasting allows you to provide valuable insights to the executive team. You are comfortable managing accounts receivable and payable, and you have a keen eye for detail when it comes to financial reporting. You understand the importance of operational efficiency and are passionate about creating processes that support scaling a business. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges head-on and finding innovative solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the company's financial model and forecasts, ensuring that key metrics are tracked and reported accurately. You will manage the accounts receivable and payable processes, overseeing the monthly close and cash management. Your responsibilities will include building board materials and supporting fundraising efforts, working closely with the CEO to align financial strategies with the company's growth objectives. You will also play a crucial role in HR operations, helping to establish processes that support employee engagement and retention. As the first dedicated hire in this function, you will have the opportunity to shape the finance and operations landscape of Edia, making a significant impact on the company's success.
