Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Your ability to build relationships and understand customer needs has led to successful deal closures in the past. You are comfortable navigating complex sales processes and can effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achieving targets and driving growth. Your experience with frameworks like MEDDPICC will help you qualify opportunities effectively and focus on high-confidence deals. You are a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of your territory and pipeline, using proactive outreach strategies to generate leads.

Desirable

Experience in the tech industry, particularly with AI or search technologies, is a plus. Familiarity with consumption-based sales models will give you an edge in this role. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your sales strategies. A background in working with cross-functional teams will enhance your ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own your territory and be responsible for building a robust sales pipeline. You will develop and execute a proactive outbound cadence that generates at least 50% of your booked opportunities. Your days will involve deep discovery and qualification of leads, uncovering pain points, business impacts, and decision criteria to ensure you are pursuing the most promising deals. You will craft and deliver tailored narratives and live demos that resonate with potential clients, showcasing the value of Elastic's Search AI Platform. You will work closely with marketing and product teams to align on messaging and ensure that your sales efforts are supported by effective collateral. As you close deals, you will also focus on expanding existing accounts, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
