Who you are
You are a quick learner with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation β you thrive in environments where you can work independently and efficiently. Your attention to detail ensures that you follow all workplace and job safety procedures, maintaining a clean and orderly work area to meet housekeeping standards.
You are eager to gain knowledge and skills that will prepare you for future roles within the port β your ability to operate mobile equipment such as Bobcat and Lull will be essential in moving dust collection bags and receiving pellets. You are comfortable recording data accurately and collecting samples for testing finished goods.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous operation of the port, which includes monitoring equipment and performing basic maintenance to keep it in good working order. You will communicate effectively with the Operations team, escalating issues as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Your daily responsibilities will involve inspecting equipment, keeping areas clean, and assisting in various departments such as receiving and housekeeping.
You will receive structured learning and development opportunities that will help you integrate successfully into a specific role within the port. This hands-on training will provide you with the skills needed to excel in future positions, making you a valuable asset to the Enviva team.
