Overview

Esri is seeking an Account Manager for their Commercial Agriculture team to enhance customer relationships and implement geospatial technology strategies. You'll work closely with agriculture clients to optimize their use of Esri technology. This role requires a strong understanding of the agriculture industry and customer-oriented skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in Commercial Agriculture and Natural Resources, coupled with an understanding of geospatial technology applications. Your customer-oriented approach and collaborative mindset make you an ideal fit for the Esri team. You enjoy identifying and implementing strategies that address the challenges organizations face in the agriculture sector. Your ability to build relationships and maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities is essential. You leverage social media and other avenues to expand your professional network and engage with industry stakeholders. Your industry knowledge allows you to understand the relevance of GIS applications to customer needs, and you are adept at navigating customer budgeting and acquisition processes.

Desirable

Experience in retail, cooperatives, insurance/finance, or specialty crops is a plus. Familiarity with solution selling techniques will help you understand customer needs and drive business growth effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with new and existing agriculture customers, helping them optimize and expand their adoption of Esri technology. You will prospect and develop location strategies tailored to organizations in the agriculture sector. Your responsibilities will include participating in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to present Esri's solutions and engage with potential clients. You will work closely with a team to identify new areas of growth and share your expertise to support customers in achieving their missions. Your understanding of customer needs will guide you in demonstrating the value of GIS applications, ensuring that stakeholders recognize the benefits of Esri's technology.
