You have a proven track record in sales leadership, with experience in managing teams and driving results in a commercial environment. Your background in geospatial technology allows you to understand the unique challenges businesses face and how to address them effectively. You inspire and motivate your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and success. Your ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders is key to your approach, ensuring that you understand their needs and can articulate the value of Esri technology.
You possess strong coaching and mentoring skills, guiding your team through the sales process and helping them develop their capabilities. You are strategic in your thinking, able to implement location strategies that align with the goals of large organizations. Your experience in the Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, Insurance, and Financial Services industries gives you a comprehensive understanding of how GIS can be applied to various sectors.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to promoting and selling Esri technology. You will manage all stages of the account management process, ensuring that your team is equipped to meet sales objectives. Your responsibilities will include mentoring team members through active coaching, providing clear direction, and offering regular feedback to cultivate a high-performing sales environment. You will also be responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities, creating and leading initiatives within high-level lines of business.
You will participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars, representing Esri and showcasing the strength of our technology. Building relationships with key stakeholders within organizations will be essential, as you work to gain access to executive decision-makers. Your role will require you to stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape, allowing you to position Esri as a leader in geospatial technology.
