Who you are
You have over 3 years of experience in Channel Sales and Distribution, demonstrating a proven track record in team management. You possess a strong growth mindset and entrepreneurial zeal, which drives your success in sales environments. Your understanding of the local market and merchant ecosystem allows you to effectively onboard and service petrol and gas station merchants. You are familiar with concepts like distribution, channel expansion, and performance metrics, which are crucial for achieving sales targets.
You have a smartphone, bike, and helmet, which are essential for your role. Your experience includes managing a team of at least 5 sales representatives, motivating them to achieve high incentive earnings. You are data-driven, with proficiency in Excel and other sales data tools, enabling you to analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive growth.
What you'll do
As a Sales Team Lead at Paytm, you will onboard and service petrol and gas station merchants, ensuring they are well-integrated into our payment ecosystem. You will manage and motivate a team of 5 or more sales representatives, driving merchant acquisition through QR and POS products. Your role will involve maintaining strong business relationships with PSU and Oil Marketing Companies, which is vital for achieving sales and incentive targets.
You will analyze sales data to optimize team performance and drive growth, ensuring that your team meets and exceeds their targets. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative and technology-driven work culture, where performance metrics are clear and achievable.
