You have over 8 years of tax experience, with a solid understanding of tax law and codes. Your excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills allow you to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including local CPA firms. You possess strong analytical skills and can interpret complex business needs to ensure accurate tax reporting. Your interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and problem-solving, enable you to navigate challenging situations with ease.

You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, using it to develop both ad hoc and standard reporting. You stay current with tax regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that the company meets all internal and regulatory deadlines. Your ability to research tax law and rulings is essential for effective tax planning and compliance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing corporate income taxes for Esri's affiliates. You will analyze and interpret information necessary to accurately report the company's tax position, ensuring compliance with applicable jurisdictional regulations and internal policies. You will act as a liaison with local CPA firms to prepare timely and accurate tax filings for all entities.

You will explore new ways to leverage technology to improve processes, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in tax reporting. Additionally, you will maintain a thorough understanding of the relationships between the company's accounting records and tax reporting requirements, providing support during financial audits. You will also work on tax audits and notices, ensuring that all tax-related general ledger accounts are reconciled accurately.
