Who you are
You have extensive experience in contract negotiation and management, ideally with a focus on technology or software agreements. Your strong communication skills enable you to interact effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that their needs are met while protecting the company's interests. You are detail-oriented and capable of handling a high volume of contracts, demonstrating your ability to prioritize tasks and drive resolution efficiently.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with a team of contracts negotiators and attorneys to support the company's objectives. Your understanding of procurement processes and sales strategies allows you to contribute meaningfully to the success of the organization. You are proactive in seeking opportunities for process improvement and are committed to fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll do
As a Senior Contracts Specialist at Esri, you will be responsible for managing a region of the U.S. and handling all contract requests that come from those states. This includes negotiating terms and conditions, drafting agreements, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with account managers to understand customer needs and tailor contracts accordingly, ensuring that both parties are satisfied with the terms.
You will also mentor and assist other members of the Contracts team, sharing your expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to promote the adoption of Esri's ArcGIS products, both domestically and internationally. You will play a key role in mitigating risks associated with contracts and protecting Esri's intellectual property, contributing to the overall success of the company's sales efforts.
