You have extensive experience in contract negotiation and management, ideally with a focus on technology or software agreements. Your ability to build relationships with customers and account managers is key to your success in this role. You are detail-oriented and can capture the nuances of contracts to meet business needs and sales goals. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a team of skilled negotiators and attorneys. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively prioritize assignments and drive resolution in a fast-paced setting.
You are a self-starter who takes initiative in your work and seeks opportunities for process improvement. Your experience includes mentoring junior team members in drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring that best practices are followed. You understand the importance of protecting intellectual property and mitigating risks in contract agreements. You are comfortable handling a high volume of negotiations and can adapt to the needs of both domestic and international contracts.
What you'll do
As a Senior Contracts Specialist at Esri, you will be responsible for managing a region of the U.S. and handling all contract requests from those states. You will interact with customers from various industries and levels of government, ensuring that their needs are met while aligning with Esri's business objectives. Your role will involve negotiating heavily customized contract templates and ensuring compliance with legal standards. You will collaborate with the Domestic Contracts team and may also support the International Contracts team as needed. Your expertise will help promote the adoption of Esri's ArcGIS products, contributing to the company's growth and success.
You will also play a key role in mentoring other members of the Contracts team, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them develop their skills. Your ability to navigate complex negotiations will be essential in building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will be expected to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in contract management, continuously seeking ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the contracts process.
