You have a strong grasp of Computer Science and security fundamentals — your background equips you to identify and drive impactful projects that enhance security across products and IT systems. You are a security generalist who thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with various teams to implement systemic security improvements and risk reduction strategies.
You possess experience in conducting technical security assessments, code audits, and design reviews — your analytical skills allow you to develop technical solutions that effectively mitigate security vulnerabilities. You advocate for security best practices throughout the organization, ensuring that security is a priority in all aspects of product development.
You are comfortable with operational security responsibilities, including security reviews, consulting, external research, bug-bounty triage, incident response, and risk management — your proactive approach helps in identifying current and new attack vectors against products. You understand the importance of maintaining a secure environment and are committed to continuous improvement in security practices.
What you'll do
As a Security Engineer at Figma, you will perform technical security assessments and code audits to identify vulnerabilities in our products.
