Who you are
You have experience in a manufacturing environment and understand the importance of operational excellence. As a Team Lead, you are committed to promoting collaboration and building trust among your team members. You prioritize safety and quality in all aspects of production, ensuring that your team adheres to high standards. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and are skilled at training and mentoring new and existing employees.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively relay safety updates and production goals to your team. You are detail-oriented and capable of auditing processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your ability to escalate issues and resolve discrepancies makes you a reliable point of contact for the Production Supervisor.
What you'll do
In this role, you will coordinate the activities of operators within your assigned work cell to meet daily productivity goals. You will assist in training new employees and supplement the production line as needed. Your responsibilities include auditing the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), communicating safety updates, and reporting safety issues to the Production Supervisor. You will also be involved in accident investigations and follow up on operator alerts within your work cell.
You will maintain line-side material to ensure that minimum and maximum levels are upheld, and you will identify and report opportunities for improvement in production, safety, quality, and training. Your leadership will create an environment where safety and quality standards are prioritized, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing team.
