Who you are
You have a strong background in supplier development and engineering, with experience in evaluating supplier capabilities and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You understand the importance of aligning supplier performance with business growth objectives and have a knack for collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve these goals.
You are skilled in analyzing supplier capacity and process capabilities, enabling you to make informed sourcing decisions for new projects. Your ability to propose qualification methods in alignment with quality and engineering teams showcases your technical expertise and commitment to excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support strategic sourcing and supplier performance across Fender's manufacturing operations. You will evaluate supplier capabilities and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that suppliers meet Fender's performance, quality, and production requirements. Collaborating with engineering, quality, and sourcing teams, you will help facilitate new product launches and business growth objectives.
You will develop and improve the strategic supplier base and supply chain in alignment with sourcing leadership, providing advanced engineering guidance regarding new technologies, materials, processes, and supplier alternatives. Your role will involve creating, organizing, and classifying new part numbers by family to define project priorities, as well as measuring and communicating project progress based on SKUs, annual volume, and spend.
