Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in supplier development and engagement, with experience in building and maintaining trust-based relationships with manufacturing partners. You understand the complexities of production programs and are skilled at coaching partners on industry best practices related to documentation, finishing processes, and quality assurance. Your ability to navigate complex, high-stakes projects makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You are proactive in optimizing supplier performance and managing risk, ensuring that partners are well-prepared for the demands of the industry.
Desirable
Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical is a plus. You are familiar with the Xometry platform and can effectively facilitate partner success in serving customer needs. Your strong communication skills enable you to engage with diverse supplier networks and drive their engagement and capacity.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and engagement of production partners, acting as a bridge between internal technical sales and sourcing teams and external suppliers. You will engage with new supplier partners to onboard them for production programs, ensuring they are equipped to meet customer demands. Your responsibilities will include coaching partners on best practices and supporting their readiness for complex projects. You will also focus on optimizing supplier performance and managing risks associated with production deals.
