Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer with 15β20 years of deep, hands-on experience in plastic injection molding and tooling. You have personally designed molds, worked in tool shops, and led tooling programs, making you a technical authority in your field. Your expertise allows you to deliver comprehensive DFM, DFA, and cost-optimization recommendations that balance part performance, manufacturability, tooling investment, and long-term unit economics. You have an βalways learningβ mindset that celebrates learning, not just wins, and you are committed to helping build a world-class organization that values the contributions of all teammates.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own technical costing and DFM strategy for new tooling and production opportunities. You will lead the transition of customer programs from prototype and low-volume production to full-scale manufacturing, ensuring that all processes are optimized for efficiency and quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support customers through complex global manufacturing programs, providing guidance and expertise throughout the process. Your role will involve analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies that enhance overall manufacturing performance. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
