You are comfortable working with modern tech stacks, including React and PostgreSQL, and have a solid understanding of Elasticsearch for data handling.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can identify, investigate, and resolve bugs efficiently. Your experience includes mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally. You thrive in collaborative environments, engaging with product teams and community contributors to enhance the platform's features.

You are proactive during incidents and take part in on-call rotations, ensuring that issues are resolved swiftly. Your ability to lead technical discussions and facilitate workgroups makes you a valuable asset to the engineering team. You are committed to addressing technical debt and improving legacy systems, ensuring the platform remains cutting-edge.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Filigran, you will actively contribute to the OpenAEV codebase, taking ownership of new features and continuous improvements. You will participate in technical brainstorming sessions, challenging proposals and existing implementations to drive innovation. Your role will involve reviewing pull requests and ensuring code quality across the team.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and community contributors to align on the product roadmap and user interactions. Your responsibilities will include identifying security gaps and enhancing the organizational security posture through innovative solutions. You will also mentor junior engineers, guiding them through complex technical challenges and fostering a culture of learning within the team.

In addition, you will address technical debt and legacy pain points, ensuring that the platform evolves with the changing landscape of cybersecurity. You will lead or facilitate technical workgroups to explore and align on engineering topics, contributing to the overall success of the OpenAEV initiative.
