What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Five9, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and microservices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you create align with business objectives and customer needs. Your role will involve optimizing existing services and implementing new features that enhance the overall functionality of our cloud contact center software.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. Your insights will help shape the technical direction of our projects, and you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth.

In addition to backend development, you will collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between the client and server sides of our applications. You will also engage in troubleshooting and debugging to resolve any issues that arise in production, ensuring that our services remain reliable and performant.
