You have a proven track record in consultative sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You excel at creating, identifying, and closing sales opportunities, demonstrating a strong ability to align customer needs with business solutions. Your approach is customer-centric, ensuring that you understand the processes and problems faced by prospects and customers. You are skilled at asking the right questions and obtaining qualitative and quantitative data to support your sales efforts. You thrive in a team-first culture and value diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Desirable
Experience in the cloud contact center software industry is a plus, as is familiarity with post-sales support processes. You are comfortable collaborating with technical pre-sales support and professional services teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions. A background in managing named accounts and developing strategic business cases will set you apart.
What you'll do
As the Strategic Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales within a designated set of named accounts. Your role will involve understanding the unique business needs of each customer and aligning those needs with Five9’s offerings. You will engage in strategic discussions with prospects, turning these conversations into actionable plans that lead to successful sales closures. Once an opportunity is closed, you will assist in managing the initial phases of post-sales support, ensuring that implementation is set up effectively. You will work closely with various resources, including technical pre-sales support, to deliver the Five9 solution seamlessly.
Your success will be measured by your ability to generate value for customers through compelling business cases and effective communication. You will be expected to justify investments and determine next steps for each account, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a top priority. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation and growth within the sales team, contributing to Five9’s mission of enhancing customer experience.
