What you'll do

As an Engineering Manager at FloQast, you will be responsible for building and nurturing a high-performing engineering team — you will lead by example, providing technical guidance and support to your team members. Your role will involve regular one-on-one meetings to discuss career development and performance, ensuring that each team member feels valued and supported.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and outcomes, ensuring that engineering efforts align with customer needs and business objectives. Your focus on process improvements will help streamline workflows and enhance team productivity, allowing your team to deliver high-quality results consistently.

In addition to team management, you will play a key role in hiring and onboarding new talent — your insights into the skills and qualities needed for success will help shape the future of the engineering department. You will also be involved in strategic planning, working closely with the Director of Engineering to align team objectives with the overall vision of the company.
