What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for Access Essentials, you will lead a team of engineers in developing and enhancing Okta's authentication and authorization features. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction of the team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define the roadmap and prioritize features that align with customer needs and business goals. Your role will involve hands-on technical leadership, guiding your team through complex challenges and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You will also be involved in hiring and developing talent, conducting performance reviews, and providing mentorship to your team members. Your leadership will help shape the team's culture and drive engagement, ensuring that everyone is aligned with Okta's mission of providing secure access to technology. You will work closely with other engineering teams to integrate solutions and ensure a seamless user experience across Okta's platforms.
