Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) allows you to effectively provision and manage cloud resources. You are proficient in using Terraform for infrastructure as code, ensuring that deployments are automated and efficient. Your background in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, enables you to streamline development processes and improve operational efficiency. You are skilled in monitoring systems and building alerts to proactively address operational issues, ensuring high availability and performance of cloud services.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the travel experience. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail help you tackle complex challenges in cloud infrastructure. You are passionate about leveraging technology to drive business growth and improve user experiences in the travel industry. You understand the importance of real-time decision-making and are committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of both the company and its customers.
Desirable
Experience with data ingestion pipelines, machine learning applications, and web applications is a plus. What you'll do
As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer at Flyr, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated solutions for our cloud infrastructure. You will work on provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources, ensuring that our systems are reliable and scalable. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering teams to design and implement cloud solutions that support various applications, including data ingestion and machine learning.
You will utilize Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning, enabling rapid deployment of resources and services. Your expertise in AWS and GCP will be crucial in optimizing our cloud architecture and ensuring that it meets the demands of our growing business.
