Who you are

You have 2+ years of relevant professional experience developing products with strong interactive elements — you've designed products that not only look great but also provide exceptional user experiences. Your obsessive attention to detail ensures that every aspect of your designs is meticulously crafted, and you have a proven track record of bringing products to market successfully.

You are actively involved in the day-to-day design of products, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, and scientists. Your ability to communicate design intent through high-quality CAD and compelling visual communication sets you apart. You understand the importance of user feedback and continuously prototype and test your designs to ensure they meet user needs.

What you'll do

As an Industrial Designer at Formlabs, you will manage all aspects of the hardware user experience, from unboxing to maintenance. Your role will involve designing beautiful products that people love to use, taking concepts from idea to production. You will develop design concepts that align with the brand's values and enhance the overall user experience.

You will collaborate closely with Product, UI Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to develop well-balanced solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Your responsibilities will include prototyping continuously and testing designs with users through interviews and surveys, ensuring that the final products resonate with the target audience.
