Who you are
You have a strong background in manufacturing and testing processes, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your expertise lies at the intersection of hardware and software, allowing you to effectively manage teams that develop test systems for electromechanical products. You are skilled in leading teams and fostering collaboration between engineering and manufacturing departments, ensuring that production data is actionable and visible across the supply chain.
You possess a deep understanding of electrical hardware and software calibration tests, having previously defined and created testing protocols that ensure product quality and reliability. Your experience includes managing requirements and setting expectations with various stakeholders, which has honed your ability to communicate effectively and drive projects to completion.
You are a hands-on leader who enjoys working closely with engineers and technicians, guiding them in the development of innovative testing solutions. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to analyze data and make informed decisions that enhance manufacturing processes. You are passionate about shaping the future of fabrication and are excited to contribute to a team that is redefining how products are made.
Desirable
Experience with 3D printing technology or similar manufacturing processes is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools will help you thrive in this role. What you'll do
As the Manufacturing Test Manager at Formlabs, you will lead a team of four experienced software and test engineers, guiding them in the development and maintenance of manufacturing, engineering, and support test tools for our product lines. You will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to define and create manufacturing and calibration tests for electrical hardware and software, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Your role will involve managing the integration of test systems with manufacturing processes, making production data visible and actionable across our global supply chain. You will be responsible for setting expectations and managing requirements from various stakeholders, ensuring that the testing protocols align with production goals and timelines.
You will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing test data to identify areas for enhancement in manufacturing processes. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within your team, encouraging engineers to develop creative solutions to complex testing challenges.
What we offer
At Formlabs, we offer a competitive salary range of $150,000—$200,000 USD, along with equity in the form of RSUs.
