Desirable
Experience with 3D printing technology or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools will help you excel in this role. A background in electrical hardware and software testing will also be beneficial as you work on calibration tests and validation processes.
What you'll do
As the Manufacturing Software Manager, you will oversee a team of four experienced software engineers, guiding them in the development and maintenance of manufacturing, engineering, and support test tools. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to define and create effective manufacturing and calibration tests for both electrical hardware and software. Your role will involve managing requirements from cross-functional teams, ensuring that expectations are met and that the tools ecosystem is robust and efficient. You will own the entire tools ecosystem, encompassing design, validation, documentation, and release processes, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with production goals. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the future of fabrication at Formlabs, as you help bring innovative products to mass manufacturing.
