Who you are
You have 4+ years of experience designing user-centered products, ideally in complex or technical domains. Your proven UX craft allows you to create intuitive and elegant designs that resonate with users. You possess a systems thinking mindset, enabling you to map end-to-end user journeys while refining interaction details. Your prototyping fluency means you can seamlessly transition from sketches to high-fidelity mockups and clickable prototypes using tools like Figma. You have a curiosity for AI, eager to learn about generative AI capabilities and limits to design effective solutions. Your customer empathy allows you to listen deeply, synthesize feedback, and translate it into actionable design improvements.
What you'll do
As the first Product Designer at Fractional AI, you will be at the forefront of shaping how users experience applied AI. You will partner closely with engineers, product managers, and customers to transform abstract AI capabilities into intuitive and trustworthy experiences. Your work will impact dozens of AI products across various industries, from call center automation to enterprise knowledge tools. You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes, and developing prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the final products align with user needs and business goals. Your role will involve iterating on designs based on user feedback and analytics, ensuring that the user experience is continuously improved. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall design strategy and help establish best practices within the team.
