Who you are

You are a product-minded engineer with a strong focus on front-end development, particularly in the context of Point of Sale (POS) systems. You thrive in startup environments and enjoy taking ownership of your work, moving quickly to ship features while maintaining high UI and code quality. Your experience includes working with React, TypeScript, and React Native, and you have a solid understanding of how to leverage AI tools in development workflows. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members, ensuring that product requirements are translated into high-quality implementations.

You have a background in B2B SaaS or fintech products, which gives you insight into the unique challenges and opportunities in these sectors. You care deeply about UI quality and performance, always looking for ways to improve user experience and refactor existing codebases for better maintainability. You are comfortable guiding and mentoring other developers when needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and build front-end features for a POS product primarily used on tablet devices. You will work closely with founders and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features. Your responsibilities will include improving UI/UX quality, refactoring existing codebases, and applying strong product thinking to understand the product deeply. You will also leverage AI-driven development workflows to enhance productivity and maintainability.

You will be expected to move fast in a startup environment while ensuring that code quality is not compromised. Collaborating closely with your team, you will help guide the development process, ensuring that all features meet the high standards expected by users. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to align on product vision and execution, making sure that the team is on track to meet its goals.
