Who you are

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Quantitative Finance. You have experience with the Python ecosystem and a working knowledge of at least one statically typed language. Your understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, is solid, and you are familiar with object-oriented programming principles. You possess strong problem-solving skills and are committed to maintaining high standards for your code. An interest or prior experience in the financial trading industry, particularly in fixed income, is a plus. You thrive in a high-energy, time-sensitive team environment and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer Intern at Garda Capital Partners, you will aid in the development of new lines of business solutions using Python and SQL. You will support senior staff in designing and implementing complete solutions for our front office and risk systems. Additionally, you will provide support for both in-house and third-party applications, gaining valuable exposure to enterprise software development practices at a global hedge fund. This internship will allow you to collaborate closely with experienced professionals and contribute to impactful projects that drive the firm's success.
