What you'll do

As a Barber at GLIDE, you will be responsible for providing complimentary haircuts to community members, ensuring that each client feels valued and respected. You will engage in meaningful conversations with clients, using your position to promote whole-person wellness and connect them to essential resources. Your role will involve not only cutting hair but also fostering a therapeutic environment that encourages trust and community building.

You will collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming atmosphere in the barbershop, where individuals can feel safe to share their experiences and challenges. You will participate in initiatives aimed at reducing overdose deaths and increasing linkages to care, contributing to the overall health and well-being of the community.
