Android Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and bring 4+ years of relevant full-time experience in Android development. Your strong skills in Kotlin and Java enable you to tackle complex challenges and deliver high-quality solutions. You possess deep knowledge of the Android SDK and understand reactive programming concepts, particularly RxJava and Kotlin coroutines. Your familiarity with Jetpack Compose allows you to create modern user interfaces, while your understanding of Dependency Injection and tools like Dagger or Hilt enhances your software architecture skills. You are also proficient in object-oriented programming and have a solid grasp of software architecture principles. Writing good unit tests is a must for you, and you have experience with UI testing as well.

What you'll do

You will collaborate in a cross-functional team, closely working with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of services. Your role will involve developing software using modern engineering approaches and agile principles, allowing you to own your deliverables from start to finish. You will participate in product experimentation, contributing to decision-making processes and mentoring other developers around you. Your contributions will help scale our technology and team as the business grows, ensuring that we maintain our position as the fastest-growing multi-category app.
