Overview

Google is hiring a Senior Account Executive IV to drive sales in the Retail and CPG sectors. You'll leverage your expertise in cloud solutions and account management to grow enterprise accounts. This position requires 10 years of experience in B2B software sales.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes selling to enterprise accounts and engaging with C-level executives to drive business outcomes. You have a proven track record of supporting large enterprise organizations, growing existing customer bases, and acquiring new logos at scale to increase spend and accelerate consumption.

Your experience includes selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software, and you excel at aligning solutions to meet customer needs. You are skilled in working with cross-functional teams and partners during implementations and negotiations, and you have a strong grasp of commercial and legal negotiations, collaborating effectively with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.

You have cultivated C-level relationships and can influence executives, making you a trusted advisor to your clients. You understand the importance of leading account strategy to develop business growth opportunities and maximize impact within enterprise customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners. You will manage global accounts with multiple opportunities across different functions, ensuring forecast and budgetary accuracy. As the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities, you will run and manage accounts to drive engagement and satisfaction.

You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships to enhance customer loyalty. Your role will involve collaborating with customer engineers and technical leads to inventory software estates, define migration plans, and build compelling migration business cases. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementations and drive customer success.
