Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 12 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company. You possess at least 3 years of people management experience and have a strong background in managing the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. Your experience in the Financial Services industry allows you to engage and build relationships with internal teams and customer stakeholders effectively.

You are skilled in supporting a team to expand existing accounts, securing new customers, and accelerating consumption business. You have a proven track record in organizational development and transformation, fostering consultative selling behaviors, and aligning with sales leadership initiatives. Your expertise in performance management and end-to-end sales cycles enables you to coach high performance and ensure delivery against goals.

You excel at qualifying leads and presenting value propositions that address customers’ business opportunities and issues. You are knowledgeable about current technology trends and can showcase cloud provider differentiators effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle for Google Cloud's Financial Services team, driving user engagement and building executive relationships with customers. You will leverage your practical expertise in cloud, data, and AI technologies to lead conversations on Google Cloud's unique value proposition, addressing customer business issues and opportunities. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for multi-year account strategies.

You will be responsible for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring that your team meets its sales targets. You will coach and mentor your team members, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Your role will involve engaging with customers to understand their technology footprint, growth plans, and business drivers, influencing their long-term direction with Google Cloud solutions.
