You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales or account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes people management, team leadership, mentorship, and coaching, which are essential for this role. You have a proven track record of driving growth in cloud technologies, particularly in the telecommunications industry, and possess the ability to manage business and commercial models effectively. Your experience includes working with cross-functional internal teams and external partners, ensuring successful implementation projects and negotiations.
What you'll do
As a Field Sales Manager at Google Cloud, you will create new opportunities and guide customers through the entire business cycle. You will represent your territory in business planning, town halls, and team meetings, providing accurate and timely forecasting and business performance updates. Your role will involve traveling to customer meetings, conferences, and other related events, acting as an advocate for Google Cloud and its products. You will lead a team, driving organizational transformations and delivering results that align with Google's mission to help customers leverage cloud technology effectively.
