Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company. You excel at engaging and building relationships with a wide range of internal teams and customer stakeholders, and you have a proven track record of prospecting and building customer relationships from scratch. Your experience managing the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting, sets you apart in this competitive field.
You are skilled in consultative selling to executives at Startup or Digital Native organizations, adept at asking insightful questions, presenting future-forward proposals, and developing multi-year account strategies and plans. Your ability to qualify leads and present the value proposition of cloud, data, and AI technologies against customersβ business opportunities and issues is a key strength. You have experience leading cross-functional teams and partners in project implementation and negotiation, and you are well-versed in structuring complex agreements and negotiating commercial contracts.
Your excellent business and financial acumen, including profit and loss management and accurate forecasting, allows you to navigate the complexities of sales in the tech industry. You have a passion for building Greenfield territories and are excited about the opportunity to help customers transform their businesses with Google Cloud technologies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will mobilize internal experts and external partners at the right time to drive consumption and deliver a seamless customer experience. You will lead the prospecting and acquisition of net new logos, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on their long-term technology and business decisions. Your responsibilities will include managing the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to closing deals, ensuring that you meet and exceed your sales targets.
You will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including Customer Engineering and Post-Sales, to ensure that customer needs are met and that they receive the best possible service. You will also be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with customer business cases and comprehensive deployment plans. Your role will require you to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs, allowing you to adapt your approach and provide tailored solutions.
