Field Solutions Architect Manager • Lead

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. With at least 10 years of experience working in a cloud computing environment, you have a strong background in technical customer-facing roles. You have spent 2 years managing a technical team, demonstrating your leadership capabilities. Your experience includes working with Artificial Intelligence applications such as deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, as well as applied machine learning techniques and using open-source frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

You are familiar with building machine learning solutions and developing applications using AI frameworks. A Master's degree or MBA in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field is preferred. You have experience serving as a pre-sales, customer-facing field development manager and are knowledgeable about contact center technologies and platforms, particularly in building conversational applications. Your understanding of the UK market is an added advantage.

What you'll do

As a Generative AI Field Solutions Architect Manager, you will lead Google Cloud Sales teams to incubate, pilot, and deploy Google Cloud’s industry-leading AI/ML and Generative AI technology at AI natives, innovators, large enterprises, and early-stage AI startups. You will help teams operate efficiently and effectively with solutions using Google Cloud’s flexible and open infrastructure, including AI Accelerators like TPU/GPU. Your role will involve identifying, assessing, and developing Generative AI and AI/ML applications by applying key industry tools, techniques, and methodologies to solve problems.

You will collaborate with the Sales Account team, customer support, product management, customer solutions, and development to resolve product problems affecting pre and post-sales customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will participate in periodic opportunity review meetings, providing insights to secure technical success. Your leadership will be crucial in identifying, qualifying, and prioritizing coverage for business opportunities, ensuring that the Google Cloud Sales team is well-equipped to meet customer needs.
