Who you are
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Applied Networking, or System Administration, or equivalent practical experience. With at least 2 years of experience as a Support or Operations Engineer, you are well-versed in Linux and have a solid understanding of IT and Networking Hardware and Software concepts. Your experience includes deploying and supporting desktops, laptops, phone systems, video conferencing, and various wireless devices. You are also familiar with troubleshooting, customer service, and security protocols, making you a reliable point of contact for technical support.
You have completed relevant technical certifications, such as the Grow with Google - IT Support Certificate, which enhances your qualifications. Your ability to communicate effectively and solve problems is complemented by your technical skills, allowing you to provide exceptional support to users. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to process improvements and documentation efforts that enhance operational efficiency.
What you'll do
As an IT Support Engineer at Google, your mission is to enable the people and technology that keep the company running smoothly. You will provide front-line user support for all internal tools and technologies, ensuring that employees have the resources they need to perform their jobs effectively. Your role involves troubleshooting incidents and problems in a timely manner, coordinating with vendors and other technical support teams to resolve issues efficiently.
