Google is hiring a Strategic Negotiator for EMEA Data Center Acquisition and Development to manage real estate agreements and infrastructure projects. You'll leverage your expertise in real estate and project management to support Google's growth in the region.

Job Description

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Infrastructure, Real Estate, or related fields. With at least 4 years of experience managing projects or supporting the planning and development of agreements, you have a strong foundation in real estate development and negotiation. Your fluency in both German and English allows you to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients in the region. You have experience negotiating bilateral real estate agreements of varying sizes and timelines, showcasing your ability to navigate complex negotiations successfully.

Your background includes knowledge of power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure, and data center technology. You are familiar with industrial electrical and cooling technology, which is crucial for understanding the requirements of data center projects. Your skills in financial modeling and agreement drafting enable you to advocate for financial metrics that support site and infrastructure-related portfolio decisions. You are also comfortable with indirect taxes and economic development policy, which adds depth to your negotiation capabilities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee vendor and partner relationships, ensuring that Google's infrastructure needs are met as the company continues to grow. You will manage the planning and development of agreements, providing regular status reports and advocating for financial metrics that support both site and infrastructure-related portfolio decisions.
