Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 2 years of experience in data analysis β€” you've identified trends, generated summary statistics, and drawn insights from both quantitative and qualitative data. You also have 2 years of experience managing projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, which has honed your organizational skills. A Master's degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred, and you are familiar with programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or C++. Your experience with machine learning systems adds to your analytical capabilities, allowing you to tackle complex challenges effectively.

Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to convey insights clearly to various stakeholders. You possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail, especially in an ever-changing environment. As a member of the Trust & Safety team, you are committed to identifying and addressing the biggest challenges that affect the safety and integrity of Google’s products.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate with Google engineers and product managers to identify and combat abuse and fraud cases at Google speed β€” with urgency. You will drive business outcomes by crafting compelling data stories for a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include developing automated data pipelines and self-service dashboards to provide timely insights at scale. You will work globally and cross-functionally, ensuring that user safety is prioritized in all your analyses and recommendations.
