Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in data analysis. You excel at identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from both quantitative and qualitative data. Your experience with SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze data effectively, and you have a data-driven approach to solving challenges. You possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail in an ever-changing environment. Your communication and presentation skills are top-notch, enabling you to influence cross-functionally at various levels within the organization.
Desirable
A Master's degree in a quantitative discipline would be a plus. Experience in building operations, efficient workflow design, and process documentation is also preferred. You have a knack for crafting engaging narratives intended to influence internal and external stakeholders, and you are comfortable presenting to executives.
What you'll do
As a Senior Data Analyst on the Trust and Safety team, you will be tasked with identifying and addressing the biggest challenges that affect the safety and integrity of Google products. You will leverage your technical know-how and user insights to protect users and partners from abuse across platforms like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve ad traffic infrastructure and defense systems, while also identifying and implementing efficiency improvements through advanced machine learning techniques and automation. Your role will require you to communicate effectively with a globally distributed team, ensuring that you can collaborate across time zones.
