Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. With 3 years of experience in systems automation, design, and implementation, you are well-versed in technical infrastructure including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You are also familiar with the requirements of holding and maintaining the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Negative Vetting 2 (NV2).
Your experience includes supporting enterprise virtualization platforms that enable Kubernetes, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). You have a track record of managing field operation technicians and engineers in a cloud infrastructure environment, demonstrating your leadership capabilities. You are skilled in designing, implementing, and operating systems, with a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and applications.
What you'll do
As a Systems Development Engineer at Google Cloud, you will play a key role in understanding customer needs and shaping the future of cloud technology. You will work cross-functionally to design, develop, and validate product introductions of network and computing hardware, solutions, and technologies. Your responsibilities will include providing technical implementation and operational support in customer environments, offering guidance on the feasibility of cross-product integrations.
