Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and bring at least 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture, ideally in a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, and containerization platforms, which you have utilized to solve complex technical challenges for clients. You are skilled in programming languages and have experience in debugging, systems design, and conducting customer workshops. Your ability to engage with technical stakeholders and present solutions to executive leaders sets you apart.
You have a proven track record of promoting technical solutions in areas such as infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data management, and cloud AI. Your experience includes driving the entire sales cycle, from defining delivery plans to transitioning them for execution. You are adept at building long-term technical strategies that uncover new workloads with customers and have successfully migrated applications and services to cloud platforms. Your understanding of security concepts, including encryption and identity management, enhances your ability to address customer concerns effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will facilitate the adoption of Google Cloud products by engaging with educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses. You will listen to customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance productivity and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include assisting sales teams by problem-solving key technical issues and leading technical engagements during the solution phase. You will also facilitate post-sales transitions by supporting pricing activities and ensuring the final delivery plan is executed effectively.
You will maintain awareness of progress against delivery plans, providing support to cross-functional teams during ramp-up, delivery, migration, or implementation phases. Your role will require you to collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded. You will also be responsible for driving customer workshops and demos, showcasing the capabilities of Google Cloud products to potential clients.
