Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture, particularly in customer-facing or support roles. Your background includes cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, and expertise in virtualization or containerization platforms. You are skilled at engaging with technical stakeholders and presenting complex solutions to executive leaders, ensuring that you can communicate effectively across various levels of an organization.

Your experience encompasses programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, and conducting customer workshops. You have a proven track record of selling technical solutions in areas such as Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, and Data Management. You understand the importance of building long-term technical strategies to uncover new workloads with customers and have experience migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.

You are well-versed in security concepts, including encryption, identity management, access control, and penetration testing. Your ability to listen to customer needs and deliver tailored solutions is a key strength, allowing you to facilitate productive and collaborative environments.

What you'll do

In this role, you will facilitate the adoption of Google Cloud products by educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses. You will assist in defining delivery plans for customers and lead technical engagements throughout the solution phase. Your responsibilities will include supporting pricing activities and transitioning final delivery plans to implementation teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.

You will maintain awareness of progress against delivery plans, providing support to cross-functional teams during ramp-up, delivery, migration, or implementation phases. Your role will require you to problem-solve key technical issues for customers, ensuring that their transition to Google Cloud is smooth and effective. You will also be responsible for driving the entire business cycle, from defining delivery and consumption plans to executing them successfully.
