Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, and containerization platforms, allowing you to effectively engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders. You are skilled in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, and conducting customer workshops, which enables you to present complex technical solutions clearly and effectively.

Your experience includes selling technical solutions in areas such as Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, Data Management, and Cloud AI. You have a proven track record of driving the entire sales cycle, from defining delivery plans to transitioning them for execution. You are adept at building long-term technical strategies that uncover new workloads with customers and have experience migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.

You possess a strong understanding of security concepts, including encryption, identity management, access control, and penetration testing. Your expertise in developing scalable architectures using API management and microservice frameworks positions you as a key player in delivering robust solutions to clients.

Desirable

Experience with specific cloud platforms and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with data analytics and networking solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable leading technical engagements throughout the solution phase, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored technical solutions. You will facilitate the post-sales transition by supporting pricing activities and ensuring that the final delivery plan is effectively transitioned to implementation teams. Your role will involve maintaining awareness of progress against the delivery plan and providing support to cross-functional teams during ramp-up, delivery, migration, or implementation phases.

You will lead technical engagements, conducting workshops and presentations that showcase the value of Google Cloud solutions. Your ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in driving customer success. You will also collaborate closely with sales teams to define and refine delivery and consumption plans, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
