Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes building, automating, and developing distributed systems from ideation to deployment, showcasing your ability to navigate complex technical landscapes. You are familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as lean, six sigma, kanban, and kaizen, which you have applied in previous roles to enhance project outcomes. You possess strong skills in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, identifying process improvements, and quantifying their impact. Your understanding of machine resource provisioning, allocation, and queueing/scheduling systems allows you to effectively manage resources and optimize performance. You thrive in ambiguous situations, demonstrating your ability to make informed decisions and drive projects forward with minimal assistance.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working closely with stakeholders to plan requirements and identify risks. You will manage project schedules and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company, ensuring alignment and collaboration. Your role will involve understanding and translating stakeholder needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables, contributing to decisions on prioritizing these goals. You will build, maintain, and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards to monitor project progress and outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in executing demand signaling, managing allocations, and monitoring utilization of compute resources for Product Groups within the Platforms and Devices team. You will also be responsible for identifying, communicating, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
